Michael Bregman is President of Tailwind Capital Inc., an investment management firm. In 1988 Michael acquired The Second Cup Ltd. and served as its Chairman and CEO until sale of the company in 2002. From 1979-1994, he was founder and CEO of mmmuffins Inc. which became Canada's leading specialty bakery retailer. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of Clairvest Group Inc., General Donlee and Ideaca Ltd.

Michael holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS majoring in Finance from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

Michael is also a lead investor in the Stornoway Recovery Fund LP.
